With beef.

With turkey.

An easy and less messy version of the fried meatballs.
They can be added to tomato or no-tomato sauce or put atop noodles and steamed veggies.
Preheat oven 375 degrees.
Grind 1/3 c sesame seeds with 1 t kosher salt and set aside
Mix Together:
1lb. ground beef or turkey
1 egg (optional, as they hold together either way)
1 small onion, minced (about 1/2 c)
1 small carrot, minced (optional)
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 t salt
Pepper to taste
May add 1 t oregano for beef and 1/2 t poultry seasoning for turkey
Roll into balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Roll these into the above sesame salt mix.
Place onto cookie sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
