This is a high protein meal with a boost of fiber. Tastes great!
Preheat oven 350°
Chop:
½ large onion
Shred:
1 large carrot
Mix above with:
1# ground beef, turkey, chicken, bison, etc
1 t salt
1 T tomato paste, optional can also use no-tomato sauce
1 1/2 t mustard powder
1 egg
½ c rolled oats
You can also blend 1 fresh red pepper and 1 small onion, then pour over meatloaf before baking Pack into a 7x11 inch baking dish OR a meatloaf pan
Spread tomato or no_tomato paste over loaf
Bake 45 minutes at 350.
