|
In saucepan cook till rice and onion are soft, approx 45 min: | ||
1 large onion, whole | |||
1/2 c dry brown rice | |||
1 c water | |||
In food processor blend till creamy: | |||
1# tofu (drained), soft | |||
Cooked brown rice (warm) along with onion | |||
2 T tahini (sesame seed butter) or olive oil | |||
1 t salt or 2 t umeboshi plum paste | |||
1 T lemon juice (optional for tartness) | |||
May need to add water but should be relatively thick | |||
Adjust salt or umeboshi paste |
